Vendera App and VMS: What Operators Get

Every Vendera smart cooler is managed through the Vendera VMS (vending management system) and the Vendera – Vending Management mobile app. It’s where you watch sales, manage inventory, send restockers and track each location. Access is included in the $40 monthly fee.

What the app does

Vendera’s App Store listing describes five core features:

• Live machine monitoring: real-time machine status, performance and sales from anywhere.
• Inventory management: view, edit and organize the products in each machine.
• Restocker coordination: assign restockers, track their activity and streamline restocking.
• Performance insights: revenue, top-selling items and other key metrics by location.
• Location management: where each machine is, how it’s performing and what it needs.

Vendera’s spec sheets also describe remote price changes and fleet analytics from the VMS.

How the VMS connects to the cooler

Vendera’s spec sheets list built-in cellular connectivity, so sales and stock data reach the VMS without the location’s Wi-Fi. When a customer closes the door, the AI identifies what was taken, the card is charged, and the sale and inventory update in the app. If a customer disputes a charge, Vendera’s terms describe a dispute process inside the VMS.

What it costs

VMS and app access are part of the $40 monthly software and connectivity fee per cooler. Processing is 5.85% of each sale, with no per-transaction fee on credit cards and $0.22 per debit card transaction. See Vendera prices and fees.
