Is Vendera Legit? What to Know About Vendera Smart Coolers
Updated September 30, 2026 · By Cedric, Smart Cooler Supply
Yes. Vendera is a real company making AI smart coolers that are in use across the US. Vendera’s smart coolers are made by Vendera Technologies Inc., a US company whose cooler debuted in 2023. It publishes spec sheets and terms of use, runs an operator app on the App Store and Google Play, and has been covered by UVA Today. Here’s what’s on the public record, and what to check before you buy from any dealer, including us.

Don’t confuse it with Vendera Resources
Searches for “Vendera” sometimes turn up Better Business Bureau and employer-review pages for Vendera Resources, a Dallas oil and gas company. It’s a different business with no connection to Vendera smart coolers. Reviews and complaints on those pages aren’t about the coolers.
What Vendera says about its AI accuracy
Vendera’s spec sheets state 99.5% AI accuracy. Its terms of use are more careful: they describe “over 99% product recognition accuracy under standard operating conditions” and say “occasional misidentifications may occur,” with a dispute process in the Vendera VMS. In practice, that means most sales are charged correctly, and there’s a way to fix the rare mistake.
What operators should know
- Video notices. Vendera’s terms require operators to post notices on or near each cooler, including video recording notices where the law requires them.
- Fees are ongoing. Expect a monthly software fee and processing on every sale. Through Smart Cooler Supply, that’s $40 a month plus 5.85%, with $0.22 per debit card transaction and no per-transaction fee on credit cards. See Vendera prices and fees.
- The warranty comes from your dealer. Vendera’s online services are provided “as is,” so the equipment warranty you get depends on who you buy from. Get it in writing. Ours is 2 years on the machine and 5 years on the compressor.
- Revenue figures are examples, not promises. Your results depend on traffic, products and pricing.
Before you buy from any Vendera dealer
- Ask for the delivered price, including freight to your ZIP code.
- Get the monthly fee, processing percentage and any per-transaction fees in writing.
- Get the warranty terms in writing: how long, what’s covered, and who handles claims.
- Ask what setup help and training are included.
- Confirm the exact model number (Core LC-510, Apex LC-605, Arctic LD-315 or Atlas LC-1160).
